  Frequently Asked Questions

(Please note that I work only with positive energy and will not accept clients looking  to harm, manipulate, or disturb others.)

How can I best prepare for a session with you?
A great question! I recommend that clients take the following steps before working with me:

Establish a clear intention. I am a big believer in living an intentional life and in being as clear as you can about what you hope to receive in a healing session. When you know what you want to expand, change, or cultivate in your life, it becomes easier for it to take root and happen. As my family likes to say: Ask! Believe! Receive!
  • Setting an intention is the simple act of asking yourself what you really hope to receive in a healing session (and in life). For some, it's courage to make a change. For others, it's to heal an old wound that doesn't want to mend. For still others, it's to connect with loved ones who have crossed over, discover a power animal, deepen one's dream life, or gain assistance in removing a block that's keeping one in a rut. It is yours to decide.
  • When you can share that intention with others, especially someone in the healing community, it more quickly aligns the healing energy that is just waiting to be of service to  you. It has been my experience that clients who set a positive intention and share it not only make the most profound shifts but they're also the ones who most  rapidly heal.

Get centered. Take a little time to ground yourself before our session. Some clients like to meditate; others like to take a walk or a nap. Do whatever brings you to a calm state of being.

Keep an open mind.
Our society has many preconceived notions of alternative healing modalities--not all are accurate. Be open to the experience and remember that I am here to help you!

What do I need to do specifically for a psychic reading, shamanic session, or coaching?
  • For psychic readings, I suggest writing down in advance at least five questions about which you would like to gain insight and answers.
  • For shamanic work, we will use your intention to focus our healing work.
  • For coaching, I will take a robust intake during our first session and use that to build a coaching plan for you. You will come to each subsequent session with something specific you would like to address.

What are your particular psychic abilities?
My gifts of clairvoyance (clear sight), clairaudience (clear hearing), and clairsentience (clear feeling) are extremely well honed. I am also a gifted empath, which means that I can tune into others' feelings and emotions. Additionally, I have had success with remote viewing, astral projection, and psychokinesis. Like physicist Wolfgang Pauli
, whose psychokinetic abilities often made technical equipment fail, my energy frequently causes clocks to stop, cell phones to fail, and computers to act wacky (much to the dismay of loved ones).

You come from a family with gifts of their own. What are they?
Both my maternal and paternal lines exhibit strong clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, as well as strong dreaming abilities. Other gifts include healing hands, empathic skills, and a heightened sense of All-That-Is. I feel blessed to have grown up in a family with more "believers" than "skeptics" (thanks, Mom and Dad!). My family remains my greatest teacher.

What is shamanism?
Shamanism dates back tens of thousands of years and is often described by anthropologists as humankind's first spiritual practice. Traditionally, shamans use different techniques to cross into non-ordinary reality to gain wisdom and healing for a client or community.
